A satirical film poking fun at teen sex comedies of the 1980s that did not do well upon initial release, but has since gained a large cult following due to most of its ensemble cast eventually becoming extremely successful TV and movie stars.
On the outskirts of Cerulean City lives an eccentric Pokémon aficionado that is in a bit of a pickle. After rescuing him and receiving a generous reward, Matthew heads back into town to try his luck at gaining a second badge from water gym leader Misty.
After cleaning the moon dust off from his trek through the mountain, Matthew exits Cerulean City to the north to battle his way across Nugget Bridge.
As Matthew and his battle pets plunge deeper into Mt. Moon, it becomes dreadfully apparent to him that the perpetual horde of Zubats should be the least of his worries.
It’s really sad to see good talent wasted on such a dreadful and ludicrous script. This is rock bottom, ladies and gentlemen – the plot makes no sense, the premise is mega-contrived, the jokes fall flat, the editing is jumpy… it’s actually pretty impressive.
